Madeline Stuart is the first professional adult model in the world with Down Syndrome. The press have dubbed her a super model. Madeline started modelling in 2015 when a photo of her went viral on the internet and since then she has gone viral a further 5 times. Stuart was the first person with Down Syndrome to be the face of a cosmetic brand in the US back in 2015 and the only person in history with an intellectual disability to get a working visa in the United States. In the past 3 years she has modelled all over the world including New York for the past 5 seasons, Russia, the Middle East, Paris, London and many more. Madeline is also a fashion designer and was named the number one fashion changer in Forbes magazine when she released her first clothing collection in February 2017.
What do you believe in / stand for?
I believe in Equality, I believe in inclusion and I believe everyone deserves to be respected and loved. I also believe that in the next 10 years we will see a complete change in our society and we will become a much more inclusive world.
What do you love to do?
My favourite thing in the world is modelling, when I am on the catwalk I am most happiest and I feel invincible.
If I am not on the catwalk I am doing photoshoots, dancing in my dance school Insideoutside Dance or hanging with my friends.
What does the word legendary mean to you?
Legendary means that you are what dreams are made from, you are doing something that will change the world or peoples perspectives. You will be remembered in the years to come as a game changer.
What do you consider are qualities of a legendary woman?
Strength, morality, love, determination and patience.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?
To be brave, to believe in yourself and to fight for what is right.
Tell me a fun fact about you.
I love Ten pin bowling and go at least once a week no matter where I am.
What is your favourite quality about yourself?
My kindness, I don’t judge people and always try to help people.
What is most important to you?
To give people a chance, not to automatically judge someone without getting to know them, they may be more capable than you think.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Achieving my dream and modelling all over the world, not accepting negative feedback and never giving up.
What is success to you?
Being happy in your job and your life, being good to people and always following your dreams.
