Pina is the host of GTA’s (Greater Toronto Area) popular Midday radio show on Z103.5 FM, which can be heard weekdays from 9am-3pm. She considers herself very lucky to have begun her career in Toronto, the largest market in Canada. Pina loves her job and when she’s not on the air she enjoys hanging out with family, friends and her dog, Bobby.  Pina also loves cooking, traveling, shopping, entertainment and boybands.

What does the word legendary mean to you?

If you’re doing something that is making a difference (ie. making someone smile, motivating someone at the gym, helping someone with their groceries), while staying true to who you are, you’re legendary!

What do you consider are qualities of a legendary woman?
Passion, strength, intelligence, courage, compassion and humility – just to name a few.

 What other women do you consider to be legendary?

Artistically, I look up to several women including Oprah Winfrey. She’s made a difference in so many people’s lives without compromising who she is. I love that!  On a personal level, my mother is a legend!

What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?

To be myself. Growing up, I often tried to be like others, but once I realized there’s so much about me that sets me a part from everyone else, I began to embrace and celebrate everything I am and have to offer. There’s only one me and I’m amazing, as is the person reading this!

Tell me a fun fact about you.

I love to sing! I sing all the time, everywhere. Growing up, I wanted to be a singer. I landed the next best gig – talking!

What is your favorite quality about yourself?

My laugh! I love to laugh! It’s something I got from my grandmother. She laughed at just about everything, as do I. People often tell me my laugh is infectious. If I can make someone laugh, it makes me happy. I think we need to spread positive vibes and thoughts whenever we can.

What is most important to you?

My family.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

Finally landing my own show! I worked hard for so many years to get here….and it was worth it.

What is success to you?
Being able to do something you love each and every day, and having people in your life that love and support you.
